I finished putting up the lights today with the help of my dad. Here's the finished product:
As you can see, the Honda is still parked outside... the tow company broke down on the way to get the truck. Talk about irony. We also finished our tree:

It's been one full year since I put this site online. Can't say too much has come from it... hopefully that'll change. Maybe. Don't get your hopes too high.
Lots of new things going on but also a lot of the same old. Life goes on at a steady beat and things are starting to return to normal. I still have a dead truck in my garage. Amanda's car is acting up. Desiree is still enthralled with shadows. Work goes well, for both of us. My sister found a place and is almost a month away from getting married! Crazy! And my best friend got married! A big congrats to him and his blissful bride!
What else... we saw the movie UP. The Transformers. The Terminator. The Proposal. The Ghost of Girlfriends Past. Star Trek. (Not in that order...) Easily the most movies I've seen in a theater in a loooong time. Finally watched the Departed... Netflix has shipped it to us 2x. 2x we've let it sit... I finally watched it with Ken over the past weekend.
I think that's about all. Haven't done any of those things that I said I would get to. Funny how life changes plans. Funny how fast time flies...
I'm a web developer/software engineer living in Minnesota with my wonderful wife, Amanda and rambunctious lab, Desiree. I work primarily with .NET technologies during the day and play with Python/GAE at night.
This is my little niche on the web. It's a place for me to post things I find helpful and interesting, share things with friends and family, comment on different subjects, and contribute back to the developer community.
